CHANGE IS COMING
The faster a plant grows, the more fragile it is likely to be. Flowers that shoot up overnight rarely last more then a season. Trees that grow slowly year by year reaching higher and higher can survive for many generations. So what does this illustrate? Good things take time.
Remember the Turtle and the Hare? The Turtle had the right idea. Is it good to speed up the process of change? Sometimes yes, but change usually happens, naturally, gradually and perfectly. Any changes take time. To move forward we must leave a little of ourselves behind. Sometimes that's very hard to do.
Change is inevitable. It will happen whether we want it to or not. Sometimes we have a measure of control but many times it's totally out of our hands. However, we are in control of our attitude towards change. Look back at where you've come from and all the changes you have experienced. Change is good.. it's a movement of life. Life is good. Allow yourself the time to smell the roses as you pass through each garden in life. Remember the past, take what you've learned and leave it where it belongs. If your hanging on to the past how can you embrace the future?
