YOUR GREEN HOUSE

Today as I was looking at Wanda our lovely Hibiscus tree. I got to thinking about her seeds. Now work with me here okay?
Imagine for a minute that your mind was a greenhouse. Your greenhouse needs to be taken care of and managed to produce well right? OK so now consider that your thoughts are seeds. Now, as we have found with Wanda’s seeds – some are healthy and some are not.

The healthy ones we will keep and nurture into healthy lovely plants. The not so healthy ones will be tossed away. We should be doing this with our thoughts. Take a good thought, a pleasing thought, maybe a thought of love, or friendship, helping someone, or cheering someone up and nurture it. Sowing seeds of hope will produce optimism. Sowing seeds of doubt will produce insecurity.
We are in control of our thoughts so let’s take the time to manage our greenhouses well. The proof is all around us. Do you ever wonder why some people are generally happy no matter what? Why is that? And why then are there some people, that no matter when you see them, are forever grumpy and irritable complete with a miserable attitude? It really comes down to the seeds you sow.
Instead of sowing unhealthy seeds, let’s weed them out before they can take root and produce poor quality plants. If you take the time to sow healthy seeds of goodness you will enjoy a bountiful harvest. I know I have a much better day when I concentrate on the good seeds in my greenhouse. What about yours?
